3Blocks was born out of realisation that many reporting solutions are fragmented, involve data duplication, and are heavily reliant on financial experts checking and validating the results. Ultimately, these reporting solutions do what they were designed to do, but are they as optimal as they can be? Imagine a seamless reporting process transcending traditional divisions between actuaries, accountants and IT, where human financial experts are supported by machine learning algorithms. This is what 3Blocks is about. Our Story Optimisation of reporting processes has been a common denominator for the software we have built and the services we provide. Initially, we assisted insurance companies with the implementation of Solvency 2 but now our focus is on IFRS 17, LDTI and enhancing the control over the reporting processes with machine learning algorithms. About Us We are a group of seasoned ex-Big 4 actuaries and accountants, specialising in IFRS 17, LDTI, S2 and machine learning applications in reporting. Currently, we have 5-6 consultants who are based in the UK, Poland, Germany and Spain. We’ve worked for life and non-life insurance companies, IT firms and other actuarial consultancies, helping them with their Solvency 2, IFRS 17 and LDTI projects. What We Do We are proud of our IFRS 17 software which is the best solution on the market when it comes to the PAA calculations and reporting. We also provide IFRS 17 and LDTI actuarial and accounting consulting services. You may have used some of our materials, including the PAA Eligibility Check (a decision supporting tool for assessment of portfolios eligible for the PAA) or IFRS 17 training materials (presentations, webcasts). Lastly, we can help you to enhance your reporting process with machine learning algorithms. Our IFRS 17 software already has this type of functionality.
