In May 2016, Blue Equity, LLC, a private equity firm, acquired DC-based 3 Kings Entertainment, a broadcasting talent agency, which represents more than 100 media personality clients, including news anchors and reporters, weathercasters, sportscasters, correspondents and studio hosts. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
