List of Subscription Billing Services for Recurring Payments for SaaS Startups

I see this question being asked over and over again on hackerstreet, ycombinator and various other startup sites. At AeroLeads, we also spent lot of time trying to find the right option for us as we are bootstrapping and we can not afford to get our account locked or delays in payment etc.

We also got rejected by few services because we are from India and don’t have US bank account so I thought to make an up to date list of all the popular subscription billing services which can be used for recurring payment for SaaS startups (the list is in no order of preference or popularity).

Here are some points worth noting about each of the services.

EDIT – I have found few more such services

Zoho Subscriptions
Liquid Payment
Charge Over

I will keep updating the list on regular basis. If you know more such payment services, feel free to mention them in comments and I will put them in the list.

EDIT 2 – I found this thread of Quora which has more options. Since it is old thread, many sites are now dead but still you can check it for more options.

Hi Pushkar, thanks for the great post. I was checking out Paywhirl too, it works with stripe, but I believe you have to have two accounts, one with each and pay both fees (PayWhirl’s and Stripe’s).

Hey, you also missed this obscure one-man start up payment service in Nigeria! When you make a list and do research and give it away for free so that lazy people don’t have to do the work themselves, at least TRY to get all of them!!! LISTFAILl!!!!!!!!!1 (<—- that's a sign that the entire comment was tongue in cheek and not meant seriously.)
